Business Description
The Carousel Restaurant is Long Island's first and only kaiten, or conveyor sushi, restaurant. Located in the historic Wychwood building, the restaurant offers tapas portioned salads, appetizers, sushi, and dessert that move round and round a conveyor for guests to pick out. The plates are color coded by price, and the restaurant also features four hibachi tables that are popular for birthday parties. In addition, guests can enjoy a selection of Japanese, Chinese, and English tea in the leisurely hours of the afternoon. The restaurant opened in Feb. 2010 after a complete renovation and is known for its authentic Japanese tapas dishes and hibachi tables, making it a unique dining experience on Long Island.
