Venturing, CT Rivers Council

The Venturing program of the Boy Scouts of America, as implemented by the CT Rivers Council, aims to build character, develop citizenship, and foster personal fitness in young adults. Through methods such as leadership development, group activities, adult association, recognition, adherence to ideals, high adventure, and teaching others, Venturing provides opportunities for young adults to learn and grow. The program is designed to match the interests of young people in the community, providing them with exciting and meaningful activities to pursue their special interests, develop leadership skills, and become good citizens.
