Visitors are asked to come alone unless they require help, in which case one adult may accompany them. Children are allowed. Without an appointment, long lines may be expected. The administration will schedule an appointment if necessary, either by phone or in-person. All documents must be current and original, as photocopies or notarized copies are not accepted. Visitors can create a "my Social Security" account on the website to request a replacement Social Security card, obtain a Proof of Benefits letter, and more.
