Thomas Deering, MD

Dr. Thomas Deering is a highly accomplished and experienced cardiologist specializing in cardiac electrophysiology. He is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiology, and clinical cardiac electrophysiology and has been practicing at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta since 1989. Dr. Deering is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, the American College of Physicians, and the Heart Rhythm Society, and has contributed to numerous arrhythmia research trials and publications. He is an active member of the Heart Rhythm Society and currently serves as chair of the HRS Membership Committee. Dr. Deering's primary focus is on diagnosing and treating cardiac arrhythmias and educating patients with cardiac arrhythmias and congestive heart failure. He is currently practicing with the Piedmont Heart Institute Physicians group and sees patients at multiple Piedmont Heart Institute locations.
