The Eight Track Museum

The Eight Track Museum is a tribute to the 8 track tape and other prerecorded audio formats, showcasing over 3,000 tapes and rock memorabilia. Visitors can photograph and linger, and purchase t-shirts and 8 track tapes in the gift shop. The museum, located in the Deep Ellum arts district, offers visits by appointment and has received front page coverage in The Wall Street Journal. It is devoted to preserving and presenting audio recording formats from the 1800's to present day, with a focus on the 8 track tape.
