The Chapel is a music venue in San Francisco's Mission District, housed in a beautifully restored historic building originally built in 1914 as a mortuary. The venue features a 40-foot high arched ceiling and a mezzanine, while the rest of the building holds the sister restaurant and bar, The Vestry, which includes an outdoor dining patio. The Chapel Bar offers specialty cocktails and food for concert ticket-holders before, during, and after shows, and occasionally hosts live music events. The Box Office is open 90 minutes before doors every night there is a show, as well as on Saturday afternoons. The Vestry offers seasonal contemporary Californian cuisine and an outstanding cocktail menu, and is a great spot for dinner, drinks, and late-night dining.
