The Bar Method

The Bar Method Berkeley is a boutique fitness studio offering barre classes for students of all levels. Founded in 2012, the signature method uses body weight, the ballet barre, and props to create a transformative workout that results in long, lean sculpted muscles. The one-hour total body workout is designed to achieve sculpted arms, flat abs, a lifted seat, and long, firm thighs, using a combination of muscle strengthening and stretching techniques, ballet dance conditioning, physical therapy principles, and interval training. The highly-trained instructors customize exercises to ensure they are safe and effective for any age and every body, including modifications for pregnant women and students with injuries.
