Tavern On High

The Tavern On High is a casual dining venue located inside the historic Hawthorne Hotel, adjacent to the Salem Common. Open for lunch and dinner, the tavern offers great cocktails and local fare in an inviting setting. The WINE LAB, bar & kitchen, located in the historic West Mill building, serves lunch and dinner with live entertainment every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The venue offers a unique experience with a selection of wine, hard cider, beer, and cocktails in a rustic setting with vaulted ceilings and wood plank lining. The WINE LAB also hosts live music with no cover charge every Friday and Saturday from 7pm to 10pm. Additionally, the venue offers wine flights and build your own cheese and charcuterie boards, as well as pre-defined and selected boards and flights. The WINE LAB is family-owned and dedicated to keeping things fresh and unique with seasonal menu changes and continuous events, including live music, themed trivia nights, and holiday parties. The venue also has a private function room. The Tavern on the Green, located in the historic West Mill building, serves a varied menu with daily specials from 11 am to 11 pm, and is open 360 days a year. The venue also hosts special events such as the Grand Buffet, Halloween party, and private functions. The menu includes soups, salads, appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, pasta dishes, entrees, desserts, draft beer, wines, custom cocktails, and a children's menu.
