SSEU Local 371

SSEU Local 371 is a union representing workers employed by New York City in social service professions. The union's highest governing body is the Delegate Assembly, which includes elected delegates and alternate delegates. The Executive Committee, comprised of officers, delegates, chapter chairpersons, local trustees, and benefit chairpersons, carries out the policies and decisions of the Membership and Delegate Assembly. The union also has various other delegates representing it in different bodies, such as the District Council, Central Labor Council, AFSCME Convention, D.C. 37 City-Wide Retirees Fund, Municipal Labor Committee, and New York State AFL-CIO. Additionally, the union has permanent bodies, including the Legal Assistance Committee, Finance Committee, and Central Election Committee.
