Spoken Word Affecting Generations Open Mic

The S.W.A.G Open Mic, also known as Spoken Word Affecting Generations, is a platform for artists and poets to come together and use their words to bring about change in the community. The event, taking place on December 1st, aims to address issues such as violence, poverty, and hopelessness in East New York. Through poetry and discussions, the event seeks to engage the community in raising and empowering the youth. The open mic welcomes all artists and performers to share their work and be a part of this initiative.
