Russell A. Johnson, MD

Dr. Russell A. Johnson, MD, is a dual residency-trained physician in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, with a focus on tropical and HIV medicine. He completed his medical degree at the University of Minnesota Medical School and has extensive experience in global health, travel medicine, and the medical humanities. Dr. Johnson currently serves on the faculty at UCLA, where he provides care at multiple clinics, including those focused on urgent medical needs, primary care for students and young adults, and HIV care. He is also involved in teaching medical students and residents at UCLA. In his free time, Dr. Johnson enjoys surfing, telemark skiing, drumming, writing, and traveling.
