ReWork Project

The ReWork Project is a city-wide initiative aimed at helping individuals experiencing homelessness find a path to permanent housing through the dignity of work. Rooted in the importance of community, the program provides men and women with the opportunity to build an income and invest in positive relationships, with the ultimate goal of securing permanent housing. Operating out of a woodshop in south Austin, the project promotes a job-like atmosphere and encourages intentional friendships and healthy community, believing that the opportunity to earn money through building sellable products can be a motivating and dignifying experience.
