Radical Press Coffee Collective is a worker-owned and operated coffee shop located within Gainesville's Civic Media Center. Offering locally-roasted coffee from Strongtree Coffee and Zapatista coffee through Schools for Chiapas, the shop also provides organic soy and coconut creamers, local Wainwright Dairy milk, fair-trade and organic teas, and a variety of beverages. In addition to coffee, the shop now offers vegan cafe food items such as sandwiches, wraps, and salads, as well as baked goods from Karma Cream. The Collective was established to support the Civic Media Center and promote ethical business practices, donating "profits" to community projects and operating on consensus and anti-profit principles. The Collective looks forward to expanding worker-owned business models in Gainesville.
