Pearl River Mart at Chelsea Market

Pearl River Mart, founded in 1971, began as a small "friendship" store in New York City's Chinatown, defying strict trade restrictions between China and the United States. Over the years, it has become known for offering a wide range of Asian-inspired goods and cultural items, and has become a beloved institution in New York City. In 2016, it opened a new location in Tribeca, followed by a location in Chelsea Market a year later.
