The NYU Panhellenic Council is a governing umbrella organization for the eight member sororities on the NYU campus. They strive to excel by becoming leaders in their own organizations and the greater Greek community, giving back to the NYU and NYC communities, and exemplifying stellar academic achievement while constantly strengthening the bonds of sisterhood. The council upholds four pillars: friendship, service, scholarship, and leadership. Their sorority women are leaders, scholars, and sisters with the unified goal of the betterment of themselves and the greater Greek community.
