The NYU LEARN Lab is a research group focused on studying language acquisition in children. Utilizing a multidisciplinary approach that incorporates linguistics, cognitive and developmental psychology, and communication sciences and disorders, the lab uses a range of behavioral methods, with a primary focus on eye-tracking, to investigate language learning in infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Based in New York City, the lab's research primarily focuses on children learning English, while also collaborating with researchers globally to explore language acquisition in other languages.
