Edison, the owner of Mifen Prince, recognized a lack of his hometown's classic beef with vermicelli noodles in New York's Chinatown and opened his first noodle soup shop in NYC in 2013. In 2016, he expanded his special Guizhou noodle soup delivery service to 6 cities near NYC, which quickly became popular. In August 2019, Mifen Prince opened a new location in Houston, which gained immediate popularity for its reasonable prices, generous portions, and authentic flavors. The menu includes beef noodle soup, mutton skin noodle soup, vermicelli noodle, and beef tendon vermicelli noodle, as well as dim sum, dumplings, and juices.
