The Mayor’s Crisis Response Team (CRT) is comprised of volunteers who provide immediate crisis intervention and support to victims and their families in traumatic incidents at the request of the Los Angeles Police and Fire Departments. CRT volunteers act as liaisons between victims and emergency personnel and offer referrals to those affected by death, violent crime, or other traumatic events.
