Matthew Russo, M.D.

Dr. Matthew Russo, MD, is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in primary and complex revision total joint replacement surgery. He is experienced in the anterior approach to the hip and utilizes cutting-edge robotic surgery technology for total and partial knee replacements. Dr. Russo's research in multimodal pain management and minimally invasive techniques allows many patients to go home the same day as their procedure. As a third-generation orthopedic surgeon, he is honored to continue his family's legacy of serving the Phoenix community's orthopedic needs. Dr. Russo completed his medical education at the University of Arizona College of Medicine and his residency at Georgetown University Hospital, followed by a fellowship in Adult Reconstruction with Anderson Orthopaedic Clinic. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons.
