Business Description
Mal Pan is a family-owned restaurant chain with roots in Merida, Yucatan, now with ten locations in Los Angeles. The concept is inspired by the founder's grandmother's ethos, "Cuando hay hambre, no hay mal pan," meaning "when you're hungry, there is no bad bread." The menu reflects a combination of modern and classic Mexican cuisine, with a focus on quality, house-made ingredients. The restaurants offer a relaxed, inviting atmosphere with a diverse selection of tacos, burritos, tortas, regional dishes, and craft cocktails. The brand's identity is rooted in pride for its heritage and a commitment to always moving forward.
