Patrice Bihina, former owner of Boucarou, has partnered with Manon True to open Lina Frey, a French bistro nouveau in the heart of Lower East Side Manhattan. The restaurant is inspired by and named after Bihina's grandmother chef Lina Frey and aims to offer affordable quality French food. Specializing in French nouveau cuisine, Lina Frey separates proteins from side dishes to give customers more flexibility in creating their own meals. The menu features a unique steak with special butter Lina sauce, mussels "au poivre" with green pepper sauce, and a selection of sweet and savory old-fashioned crepes.
