Business Description
The SoHo Project Space, formerly known as The Basement, is a historic queer jewel located in the heart of New York City's SoHo district. Founded in 1987 by Charles W. Leslie and Frederick "Fritz" Lohman, the gallery has operated continuously under various names and now returns to its founding roots by showcasing LGBTQIA+ artists celebrating The Male Form. Located at 127B Prince Street, the space is a part of the acclaimed Leslie-Lohman Museum of Art and continues to be a vital hub for queer art and culture in the city.
