I use a non-diet approach for all clients, teaching what an appropriate amount of food is for your body and how to give yourself permission to eat without depriving yourself of any type of food. I also help combat negative mindsets about food and body size, and encourage clients to be involved in the goal-setting process.
With a master’s in public health, I address other aspects of health that can impact weight and food intake, including activity level, sleeping patterns, medical conditions, and medications. I encourage clients to receive medical or psychological evaluation for certain conditions that may contribute to weight gain, weight loss, or unhealthy eating patterns.
I also have experience working with clients who have nutrition-related conditions that require diet modification, such as celiac disease, food allergies, diabetes, polycystic ovary syndrome, high blood pressure, high cholesterol/triglycerides, irritable bowel syndrome, and gastroparesis.
Contact Guided Eating, LLC to restore your health through nutrition and start on the path to a healthy relationship with food.
