Dr. Ron Gaster, M.D. is a highly accomplished Lasik Eye Surgeon with numerous academic and professional accolades. He has been recognized as one of the "Top Doctors" by U.S. News and World Report, Orange Coast Magazine, and Los Angeles Magazine. Dr. Gaster has also received awards such as the "Physician of Excellence" from the Orange County Medical Association and has been selected as one of the "Best Doctors in America" since 1996. With a distinguished career in ophthalmology, Dr. Gaster has served as the Acting Chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of California, Irvine and has been honored with awards for his outstanding teaching. He has also held leadership positions in various medical organizations and has been a member of the Medical Board of California.
