Emma's Torch Cafe

Emma's Torch is a nonprofit social enterprise based in NYC that provides culinary training and job placement services to refugees. They have a restaurant in Carroll Gardens and a new cafe at the Brooklyn Public Library’s Central Branch, where they serve New American cuisine cooked by new Americans. The organization empowers refugees through culinary training and helps them build new lives in their new communities. The restaurant and cafe also serve as part of the training program, providing valuable on-the-job work experience for the students.
