Dr. Kenneth L. Anderson III, MD, is a board-certified family practice physician with a subspecialty in sports medicine. He graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1984 and completed an internship in Pinellas Park, FL, before serving as an Army physician for 4 years. Dr. Anderson then completed a sports medicine fellowship at San Diego Sports Medicine & Family Health Center. Since 1989, he has provided primary care in Pacific Beach and currently serves as the Medical Director for SeaWorld San Diego. He is also the team physician for the University of San Diego and Mission Bay High School, as well as the tournament physician for the BNP Paribas Open Tennis Tournament in Indian Wells and the La Costa Women's Professional tennis tournament. Dr. Anderson has also been the team physician for the San Diego Gulls and the Buick Open golf tournament, among other sporting events. He has served on the faculty of several medical schools and provides training for medical students. Additionally, he was on staff at Camp Pendleton Naval Hospital in the Sports Medicine Clinic.
