Disclaimer Gallery

The Disclaimer Gallery, run by Sarah Wang, Shaina Yang, Zaria Poem, Sessa Englund, Ø.K. Fox, and JinHee Kwak, is a space dedicated to showcasing and supporting marginalized groups. They pay for the programming and maintenance of the gallery and are committed to representing low-income individuals and other marginalized communities. The gallery aims to embody the experimental and non-hierarchical nature of the Silent Barn while addressing issues of gentrification and racial and gender disparities. The team, consisting of queer women and non-binary individuals from diverse racial backgrounds, is dedicated to challenging dominant power structures within the art world.
