Diamond Way Buddhist Center NYC

The Diamond Way Buddhist Center NYC offers practical teachings from the Karma Kagyu school, which were passed down from the historical Buddha Shakyamuni through Indian and Tibetan masters. Today, the teachings are transmitted by great Tibetan Buddhist teachers such as H.H. the 17th Karmapa Trinley Thaye Dorje, Shamar Rinpoche, Sherab Gyaltsen Rinpoche and Jigme Rinpoche. The center provides methods for lay people to develop their mind's inherent richness and clarity through meditation and daily activities. Members of the center, including individuals and families with full-time jobs, share responsibility for guiding meditations, answering questions, and giving explanations. Milestones include a move to 28th Street and Park Ave in 2011.
