DePaul Humanities Center

The DePaul Humanities Center supports and nourishes humanities scholarship and teaching throughout the university, as well as interdisciplinary work in the humanities. It aims to increase public visibility of work in the humanities conducted by university faculty, staff, and students, and encourages the consideration of contemporary problems and solutions through integrative, innovative, and inspired methods. The center also works to build and strengthen links with other institutions, community groups, and educators. Through its programming and commitment to supporting creative and ground-breaking approaches to scholarship, the Center serves as a site for innovative discussion and research in the arts and humanities, engaging in interdisciplinary conversations that bring together DePaul faculty, staff, students, and Chicago communities with scholars and artists from inside and outside the academy.
