Civic Hall

Civic Hall is a collaborative innovation center located in the heart of Manhattan, dedicated to advancing the use of technology for the public good. The organization provides a dynamic and inclusive exchange for ideas, tools, learning, relationships, and ventures that aim to bring about a more just society. Civic Hall supports civic activists by providing them with the means to reinvent civic engagement in the 21st century, offering skills, relationships, and technology to improve institutions and systems. The organization emerged from the connections that evolved over the first ten years of the Personal Democracy Forum conference and has grown to more than 850 members, including technologists, social entrepreneurs, and government officials. Through curated workshops, events, and daily networking opportunities, Civic Hall aims to create new institutional infrastructure for generating greater value, equity, and justice in society.
