Celebration of Whimsy

"Celebration of Whimsy" is a whimsical venue that promotes artists of the past, present, and future. Owners Stephen Michael Rondel and Tyler Maganzini offer reasonable and competitive rental rates for their 3,500 square foot basement space, which includes a main stage theater, dressing rooms, and a small multipurpose rehearsal room. The venue also features a bar and cafe offering affordable beer, wine, and light food fare, as well as a rotating art show showcasing visual artists from New York and around the world. The space hosts a variety of performances, including dance, drag, burlesque, comedy, drama, and film screenings, and is home to "The New Acting Company," a reputable children's theater. The C.O.W. supports whimsical-based ventures and is available for rental on the Lower East Side.
