Byakkokan Dojo

Byakkokan Dojo, established in 2005, specializes in the art of Battodo and is affiliated with the All Japan Toyama Ryu Iaido Renmei and the All Japan/All US Battodo Renmei. Head teacher Sang Kim sensei, a 6th dan Renshi of Toyama Ryu and President of the U.S. Battodo Renmei, emphasizes the practice of Kata, Tameshigiri, and Gekken to provide a comprehensive understanding of Japanese swordsmanship. The dojo also offers insights into Japanese culture and manners, and provides opportunities to participate in tournaments and events both in the US and Japan. With a focus on sharing its unique style of Japanese swordsmanship, Byakkokan Dojo has quickly gained a strong reputation and built strong relationships with dojos of other styles.
