Buckley Playground

The Boston Parks and Recreation Department is responsible for creating and maintaining over 2,300 acres of park land throughout the city, including 217 parks, playgrounds, athletic fields, and other recreational spaces. They also oversee two golf courses, 65 squares, 17 fountains, 75 game courts, 16 historic and three active cemeteries, urban wilds, four High School Athletic Fields, and approximately 125,000 trees, with an additional 35,000 street trees under their care.
