Brian Shafer, M.D.

Dr. Brian Shafer, M.D. is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with a sub-specialty certification in sports medicine. He specializes in minimally invasive shoulder, elbow, and knee arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery. With extensive experience as a team physician for professional and collegiate teams, including the Arizona Cardinals, Arizona Coyotes, Los Angeles Dodgers, and USC football and women's volleyball teams, Dr. Shafer brings a wealth of knowledge to his practice. He earned his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and completed his surgical residency at the University of Washington, followed by a fellowship at the University of Southern California focusing on sports medicine and shoulder and elbow reconstruction.
