Breakthrough T1D, formerly JDRF

JDRF is the leading charitable funder and advocate of type 1 diabetes (T1D) research worldwide. The Colorado Springs Branch of JDRF is a branch of the Rocky Mountain Chapter of JDRF International, which oversees all fundraising events and operations for the areas of Colorado, Wyoming and Eastern Montana. More than $6.5 million has been provided to Colorado research facilities via JDRF fundraising activities since 2002. JDRF collaborates with a wide spectrum of partners and is the only organization with the scientific resources, regulatory influence, and a working plan to better treat, prevent, and eventually cure T1D.
