Bayou

Bayou is a neighborhood Creole cafe in the Mission district of San Francisco, offering authentic creole cuisine from a native New Orleanian. Chef Arthur brings the culture and cuisine of his Louisiana hometown to the Bay Area through a menu of creole specialties such as po boys, etouffee, gumbo, shrimp and grits, rotisserie chicken and ribs, and frog legs. The restaurant provides dine-in, to-go, catering, and private event options with a casual, inviting, and friendly atmosphere. Reservations are not accepted, and it is first come, first served.
