ARO is a jewelry shop in East Austin specializing in under-the-radar contemporary and fine jewelry from independent and emerging designers. They also offer a small selection of women's clothing, homewares, and apothecary. In 2018, ARO introduced its first in-house jewelry line featuring everyday essentials handmade by artisans in Taxco, Mexico and local Austin jewelers. They are currently working on a special launch for Fall 2019. ARO originally started as an e-commerce store in 2014 and opened its first storefront in September 2015 after successful pop-ups and events.
