The company offers a non-confrontational behavior modification program, Fair but Firm, implemented in 10 sessions over six months, to teach adults how to better manage difficult children and restore order and peace to the home or school. Founded by James Kling, the consultancy has been working with treatment-resistant children and adolescents for over twenty years, specializing in correcting severe behavioral disruptions when traditional methods have been unsuccessful. Alternative Teaching, Inc. is dedicated to helping families and caregivers address a wide range of behavior problems in children aged 3 to 17 years old.
