Alegrias in La Nacional presents "A Night in Andalucia", a program of authentic Flamenco song and dance featuring the best artists from Spain and beyond. The shows take place every Saturday night at 8:30pm and 10:45pm, with a $20 cover charge. Reservations can be made by calling 917-667-2695 or visiting www.alegrias.com. Alegrias was originally opened as a family-run restaurant and bar in Greenwich Village in 1998, earning praise as "the temple of flamenco" by Time Out New York. After being sold in 2001, Alegrias was revived as ArtsFlamenco's theater wing in 2003, and has been performing "A Night in Andalucia" at Centro Español - La Nacional ever since.
