Founded by Lauri Hunter in 2014, Act One Youth Theater aims to provide children of all income levels the chance to participate in live theater. The organization believes in the importance of live theater in shaping well-rounded individuals and aims to teach creativity, teamwork, and public speaking skills. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, Act One Youth Theater is committed to offering children the opportunity to experience performing arts at no cost to them or their families.
